The marriage formed by Victoriano Agiriano and Maria Angeles Barandiaran was murdered by the Spanish Police in a roadblock in Vitoria. According to the version they released, they tried to escape control by car, but the trial was quickly closed without witnesses. In addition, with the help of the right-wing media, the couple's name was mentally shaken. The following day, a general strike was held in the Upper Must, with strong disturbances between the police and the protesters in Bergara.
