During the feminist strike in Switzerland, 500,000 women took to the streets. Ten years earlier, on the same day, they called for the implementation of articles on gender equality in the country’s constitution, in particular the elimination of the wage gap and sexual discrimination. The day of mobilization was a great boost for the Swiss feminist movement.
