23 August 1927,
Italian immigrants and anarchist workers Sacco and Vanzetti were executed in the United States. For murders they did not commit, they were sentenced to death in a trial without guarantees.
During the trial another detainee assured his innocence.
In 1971 they premiered the film ‘Sacco i Venzetti’, directed by Giuliano Montaldo and with the soundtrack of Ennio Morricone. It's a highly recommended task to understand what happened in that episode of history. Listen to Joan Baez's famous song.
