Pancho Villa attacked the United States. “Long live Mexico! Among the cries of “Deaths for the Gringos!”, 500 people led by him crossed the Mexican border and attacked the people of Columbus at 04:45 a.m. About 800 people lived in a military camp in Columbus. That day, for the first time in history and for the last time, the United States suffered an invasion of Latin America. The reason? Revolutionaries in Mexico faced constitutionalists and the United States supported the latter. The US response was to put price on Pancho Villa's boss and arrange hunting for her catch. A group of 5,000 soldiers traveled to Mexico for a year to search for it. They returned with empty hands.
