09 July 1976,
Normi Mentxaka was killed in Santurtzi by members of the far-right Guerrillas of Cristo Rey. They were popular parties and the people of Mamariga came out in favour of amnesty. Francoist police appear and charges begin. A group hid inside a bar and some blue dresses from the fishermen's blouse told them they'd keep the ikurrina. They were agents of the Social Political Brigade and they were with some fascists. One person got hit with the back of the gun and fled. The young people left behind, but one day they stopped, shot back and one of the bullets hit Normi Mentxaka, a 42-year-old woman. They have never arrested or investigated anyone for this murder.
