5 November 1512,
The Navarro army surrounded Pamplona and attacked the walls to expel the Castilian people who conquered the territory from the city. They attacked the area of the door of Tearus, seeking the weakest points of the walls they knew. The Duke of Alba, in front of the Castilian people, was suspicious of the Navarros of the city, if they would not attack from within. Together with the French allies, the Navarros, soon after starting the cannons, managed to open a gap in the walls, but did not have access, as the Castilians attacked them with firearms forcing them to go back.
