Maria Magunazelaia Loroño was born, the first cyclist from the Basque Country. She was the first woman. When her father dies, she moves to live with her mother to Eibar, where Mary begins to work. At the time of the arms crisis, Eibar started in the bicycle industry, and in this context began to register for the Magunazelaia championships. As the only female cyclist, she competed with men and was injured. In 1929 he won the Bizkaia Championship in Elorrio.
