11 April 1938,
The Franco military police arrested about 30 people in the raid of the Catachu bar in Pamplona. Ezcaba's fortress was accused of helping Iparralde escape. Among the detainees were several members of the Union of Nationalist Women. This group, together with the anti-francoist group of women, provided external support to Ezkaba prisoners, providing resources and information. Many of these networks were arrested and tortured.
