The young amateur of Athletic, Iñigo Cabacas, dies from the wounds caused by the rubber ball launched by the Ertzaintza four days earlier. The Ertzaintza charged him against the fans who gathered around the bar of the town of Indautxu after a match played by Athletic. The only ertzaina was convicted of the murder and soon after it was suspended. Although there were no incidents, the manager ordered the Ertzainas to “enter with everything they had.”
