16 June 1946,
Ho Chi Minh visited Donibane Lohizune, Azkaine and Sara. The members of the delegation of the interim government of Vietnam wanted to negotiate with the French Government the independence of the country. However, this government was pending constitution, while the delegation spent a few days in Lapurdi. There were ball games, out into the sea -- everything. When the French Government was formed, negotiations began, but a few months after they did not reach an agreement, the war broke out in Vietnam.
