15 June 1984,
Hernani became a fighting zone. Early in the morning, the Civil Guard began an operation against ETA's Adarra command, tortured by other members after knowing in which dwelling was located.
At the orders of Galindo, the police surrounded the building and also fired from the house in front of them. A large shooting began, as Juan Luis Lekuona Elorriaga Gato and Agustín Arrangi Perurena Txuria responded to the shots of their home. They finally threw a grenade inside and killed two calcined activists.
On the street, after hearing the shooting, the citizens faced the civil guards, and seeing that both bodies were completely burned, he stirred up in Hernani. The coffin of Arrangi was deposited in the plenary of the town hall of Hernani and in the cemetery the police recharged those present.
Cortatu developed the song Hernani 15-VI-84 from this fact.
