26 July 1936,
A Republican aircraft bombed the Loiola barracks in San Sebastian. After the coup d'état of Franco, the Loyola military managed to occupy important buildings in the city, but the Republican forces, the Socialists and the anarchists, above all, after the great fights, withdrew and got control of the city. The rebels were locked in the barracks. As they picked up in the Liberal newspaper, when they bombed for the first time, the officers told the lower that there was going to be some mistake, but when it was repeated the next day, everyone realized that they were in an absolutely critical situation. They are renewed to two days.
