18 December 1974,
The Civil Guard murdered the young man Mikel Salegi Urbieta in a roadblock. After dinner, by car to his village, he stopped at the control in the Donostia district of Errekalde and was shot.
To the wounded Salegi, another car took him to take him to the hospital, but he stopped in a second control that lasted 10 minutes while Salegi bled out. He was 21 years old.
At death, they did not want to let their relatives see their bodies.
In the burials, the police "passed" to those who came out, that is, they forced to pass between two rows of police officers who were beating. No fundamental research was carried out. The case was filed and since then the family has had no official knowledge. His relatives have denounced the struggle for justice “without institutional support”.
More than a dozen deaths by the Spanish police in road control.
