21 December 1973,
Pedro Barrios was shot by the Spanish Police in Madrid. Following the attack on the White Carrero the day before, all police officers were mobilized to catch the perpetrators.
They lobbied those responsible for the death and brought a group of inspectors specialised in the fight against ETA from Bilbao.
A few hours in the morning, Iñaki Mujika mixed with the Arrangi etarra. He was 19 years old, asked nothing and was shot on the street. He died two weeks.
In 1979 the State had to compensate its widow for the "police error".
