The French representatives began to propose the deportation of the inhabitants of Sara. It came into conflict with the monarchies of the French Revolution, led by Napoleon, and a war front was established in the Pyrenees. Forced recruitment was imposed in Iparralde and many young people living near the border fled south.
By escaping 47 young people from the sea, Ainhoa, Azkaine, Ezpeleta, Itsasu, Sara and Zuraide. They deported 4,000 inhabitants to Landeta.
