UNESCO reported that Euskera was in danger of extinction. A report was published entitled "The Renewed Atlas of Endangered Languages", which stated that in Hego Euskal Herria the Basque Country was in danger, but in Ipar Euskal Herria "in danger of extinction". In the French State, all minority languages were seriously threatened, except corsa. In the Spanish state, on the contrary, Catalan was the only one who, together with Castilian, was saved from risk.
