The Spaniards killed Tupa the Inca leader Amaru I. After the destruction of the Inca empire by the Spaniards, the members of their royal family had rebuilt the kingdom in the area of Vilacamba.
Tupaq Amaru was captured by the Azpeitiarra Martín de Loiola. Imprisoned by the last Inca king, the Spaniards murdered in the plaza of Cusco along with their wife, children and their closest companions.
