23 September 1974,
Spanish police arrested Eva Forest in Madrid. In 1973, after the attack on Carrero Blanco, he published the book Operation Ogro with the pseudonym Julen Agirre. It was linked to this attack and the Roland cafeteria and was severely tortured by the police. In Iparralde women took to the streets and denounced the detention of Forest. Outside Euskal Herria they also sent him their solidarity, as the Des femmes en mouvement magazine. This magazine was going to publish Forest's daily collection and letters.
