The Spanish Legion arrested Moroccan soldiers who were on the island of Leila or Perrexil and “recovered” the territory. Days before, the Moroccan army resolutely resolved the diplomatic conflict that arose after the conquest of the island. Although it is an island of 0.15 square kilometers of surface, located a few meters from the Moroccan coast, the Spaniards consider it their territory. The gigantic media campaigns promoting Spanish nationalism were constant.
