Opening of the International Tribunal for Crimes against Women in Brussels. References for the trial were sought both in the Nurenberg trials and in the international courts. Participants were 2,000 women from 40 countries who addressed issues of motherhood, forced heterosexuality, coliteridectomies, rape and child sexual abuse. The First United Nations Women's Festival was held last year in Mexico. It was a conference.
