Spanish King Carlos I ordered the capture and killing of several members of the Jaso-Xabier family. The Jaso-Xabier family enthusiastically exercised the defense of Navarra, suffering harassment and destruction of its properties. From this family was Francisco Javier, born in 1506 against Castilla in the conquest of Navarra and later named holy.
