In the leaflet Esperanza del Casco Viejo in Bilbao, there were 18 young people who wanted to be arrested by the Spanish Police for belonging to youth movements such as Sigas, Haika or Segi, but were fled. Two weeks earlier the Supreme Court considered them to be a “terrorist gang” and sentenced 23 young people to six years in prison. They were arrested and four, but many managed to hide. That day the National High Court banned the concentration called by the youth movement in the Arriaga area of Bilbao. The call was maintained and over a thousand people gathered for noon in the Casco Viejo, until it opened mouth to reach the fronton of Esperanza Street. There were 18 young people condemned by the sentence, after the banner “Open the opportunities for independence, Basque youth ahead!” and with the support of 1,200 people. With political appearance they responded to the political judgment.
