In Biarritz N’Guyen Van Dong died burned in solidarity with Basque refugees. The French Government was sending letters of order to the Basque refugees. A 73-year-old Vietnamese, based in Biarritz, wrote to several newspapers with the nickname of Jon, announcing that Paris would comply with the threat and be burned in the form of a bonzo in the event of the exile of Basque refugees. He had previously made other attempts. Finally, before the city council, he fulfilled his word.
