ETA murdered two civil guards, one of them, the famous torturer

ETA murdered two civilian guards in Arrasate. They were gunned down as they left an inn. One of them, nicknamed Chino, was a famous torturer in the village.
One of the testimonies collected by Arguz says: “I remember the murder of Chino, as he was called in Arrasate. It was one of the most feared of those past the barracks.”
The end of Franco was approaching and the escalation of ETA’s military actions began. Until then, ETA murdered well-known torturing policemen and on charges of responsibility, and from then on they decided to act against all those wearing uniform, accusing them of responsibility in the repression.
