Two young Eritreans attempted to assassinate regent Rodolfo Graziani, imposed by Italy in Ethiopia. At an event taking place in Ethiopia occupied by Italy, some ten grenades were thrown at it. 50 people were wounded in attack, including Rodolfo Graziani himself, but he left alive. In response, he undertook bloody repression throughout the territory he had conquered and became known as the Ethiopian Butcher. In the photo, Graziani in the moments before the attack.
