12 February 1934,
The struggles between socialists and fascists, also known as the Austrian Civil War, are beginning. Faced with the continued persecution of left-wing militants, Austrian socialist and communist militants revolted against the fascist government in the city of Linz, spreading the conflict to the whole country. The Government bombed working-class neighborhoods using the fascist paramilitary organization Heimwehr and provoked thousands of detainees, tortured, executed and exiled.
