25 September 1936,
The military commander of Estella banned the word agur by a side. He ordered the portrait, bust or figure of any object, suit, newspaper, map and separatist leaders of “separatist character” to be handed over to the Military Command. The objects included instruments such as the txistu used in Basque dances. If within 48 hours they had indications that something had not been delivered, the military indicated that they would explore the houses, punishing those responsible.
