Donald Trump will take office again on January 20 and will resume office as President of the United States. If, in the previous mandate, 2017-2021, he was not shameful in decision-making, in this mandate he will remove those scarce complexes and do whatever he wants, as the composition of his government represents a number of consequences.
We thought that Trump and the new technology industry were inseparable, but from there where Elon Musk, despite being enemies until a few years ago, gave him money for the election campaign and is now going to receive very fruitful results. Silicon Valley caciques were also against Trump, but after seeing the victory, they have decided to donate millions of dollars to make the investiture of the lehendakari round. Jeff Bezos also believes that he is going to increase his huge profits with Trump and has been left to win without shame.
On the other hand, Trump’s clear victory gives us further proof of the decline of the United States, which has gone from being gendaring about the world to being simple escort. Starting with the flight from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, we continue with the shameful withdrawal from Afghanistan, which has done nothing but stir up: Iraq, Libya… Latin American countries such as Panama or Mexico have also taught it.
In order to safeguard its economic power, particularly to reduce imports from Asia, the United States is imposing a number of important taxes to protect the domestic industry, otherwise its jobs will be at risk. But all of this would be in contrast to the doctrine of the free market which they have so often proclaimed, which is being left to nothing.
In the case of the United States, Trump’s economic policy would counteract the will to expand current capitalism
Capitalism needed the states until the middle of the 19th and 20th centuries, as it needed a state internal market and the enjoyment of citizenship. As a result, state industry and welfare were developed under the leadership of Christian Democrats and Social Democrats; but the economy of the twenty-first century is left with states if they have not become obstacles.
In the case of the United States, Trump’s economic policy is opposed to the current desire to expand capitalism. On the one hand, Musk wants to play in a global market to sell his electric cars, but on the other hand, he wants to impose tariffs to stop Chinese car sales in the United States; he will also strengthen the aerospace industry with public money. Musk’s other role, in addition to reducing the federal administration, will be to outsource public activity, but it will not reduce general public spending.
On the other hand, Kennedy, the anti-cattle, has been named Secretary of Health, and I don't believe that the big pharmacists and powerful vaccine producers will accept him willingly, because he will be against his interests.
Another important chapter is that of immigrants. In general, in the United States, cheap labour is needed, if the arrival of immigrants is stopped, labour wages will tend to increase, and employers will not benefit either, because their profits will be reduced.
Other Trump’s goals are to reduce taxes on the rich and maintain spending levels, except for defense spending to take advantage of the military-industrial complex. Therefore, the Vitoria-Gasteiz Executive will finance the federal budget of the CAV and Navarra with public debt. Thus, 1% of the richest Americans will exceed 20% of the National Income and, in the meantime, the remaining 99% will be less than now.
