The Arrasate Perlata group has published a new work. He has several records behind him and his latest work is punk, Oi! And it was a documentary in tribute to the unrepeatable teacher Jesusi Etxeberria, who made rock bridge, an exercise of love and recognition. Now, with the focus put back on the music, they have created a new album of ten songs, along with a book of fanzines where words, reflections and drawings of various tattoo artists are mixed.
It is clear that the quartet is in a new phase. For the first time in a long time, they have achieved a stable battery, which has fully internalized their group personality and which has added a dense rhythm. The group has the opportunity to play more than ever before, but they take the measure because they are clear about when, where and for what to play. Believing in political action, the words of the quartet allow for serious and free reflection, taking care of each other and, ultimately, living. Nonsense is all too well in life and, therefore, also in this group.
The songs have been recorded at the Sound Of Syrens in Pamplona, giving each one the tone he needed, and they have sought harmony and music. One gram is entirely right, rabid and fast, and with the drums carved, it has the trail of Biznaga in the melodiea.Vino and jasmine is stronger, a different voice-rock and enriched with nuances. Mak is the inner, sensitive piece, which is growing and disguises itself as the smell of the Ribera. Kintsugi compares strong rock, rage and half-tempos. Geltzeko's playful, sticky punk rock will hook you up. My peace is another punk punk punk punk rock that looks like Dead Girls. Iguana from the wildest, half-raped and dark of Vomito. The myelium is a salad of other rhythms and tempos. A sticky, powerful piece that makes the SLF to the current punk rock. And finally, Araoa: a penetrating spell he drinks from the tribal, the Eneritz Furya and the nois, opening the group’s doors to deepen into other areas.
