The promoters of the initiative, SVP and its sponsors, including the association against vaccines that spread the fascist ideology of “verification”, pointed out that its intention was not political, but to maintain the rules of the language. The use of the gender star will not protect dissident genders, as this is something that must happen at all levels of society. With this vote, the right has wanted to clear from the table the debate on gender roles, the reality of male violence and the achievements of the feminist movement.
