It's not Hollywood, it's not cinema, it's not vanity, it's not laziness. But it has a luxury: elegant clothing, red carpet, entrances of more than twenty euros and hundreds of followers.

It's Big Week of Donostia and the city is full of people and activities. This Thursday afternoon, some 500 people have decided to approach the Main Theatre, despite the many free activities that have been carried out on the street. The theater has no place at the parties, unless Donostia Kultura has scheduled it in parallel. The culture industry uses art as a commodity, leads to theater, as other artistic disciplines, to consumption, and becomes elitist, to prevent access to all and to give the wrong vision and definition. One day earlier the same work was offered in Urnieta and the public paid seven euros. The Gipuzkoan capital has stayed for four days in Donostia-San Sebastián, with more filled seats and almost all the tickets sold in the Gipuzkoan capital. I do not believe that it was the workers who benefited from the profits.

The play has its details. An artist who has created and directed a short will be awarded in Hollywood and has gone to pick him up in the United States with the Culture and Finance Advisors. Creation is the topic that has the least weight in all the work, starting from the fact that none of the last two monigotes has seen the film. They only take into account the money and the "benefit it can bring to the people". There's criticism. But in this society, in addition to art, people are also merchandise, and in Hollywood we talk about the trafficking of women between glamour and luxury, being the fourth character a follower woman. In this case, however, criticism has not been very pronounced, and I have seen the risk of being recognised as normal.

The author's most beautiful decision has seemed to me to be the location of the story: the spectator will never settle in Hollywood, but in a delightful motel located on the periphery. What might be the place that the short film occupies in this gigantic industry, a kind of metaphor. It puts the recipient in that perspective, inviting him to laugh at politicians and to value art. No to the redefinition of art and the modification of values. We'll leave that for the next time.
