The new spokesperson of the PNV in the Basque Parliament, Joseba Díez Antxustegi, has considered that lehendakari, Imanol Pradales, "has formed a government of women and men with great experience, respected in the professional sectors and committed to the Basque Country". The party's president, Andoni Ortuzar, has repeated a 2015 slogan in which he stated that the composite revolving doors "work correctly in the right direction", because "first of all, people have a professional profile, have an accredited competence, demonstrates their value in their profession and in their professional duties, and then many of these people want to make public and institutional commitments".
Ortuzar's strategy kicked off in the 2013 municipal elections, when the group "Juventud Burukides Bizkainos" (JoBuBi) tried to renew the tables on the municipal management of the PNV. The party's "JaBuGo" and "Michelines" had been too long in relation to the public administration, so they wanted to sell the image of new managers with careers in private companies, although most were public administration contractors.
Many Jeltzales are fed up with the lack of self-criticism of leader Ortuzar JoBuBien, the entrenchment of the Arratia clan and the relocation of some of the party's latest JaBuGo
Faced with the unfortunate results obtained by the PNV in the last elections, and without having achieved the results expected with the latest candidatures disguised as feminism, the party has hastened to the plugging of the young promises. But many Jeltzales are already fed up with the lack of self-criticism of the leader of JoBuBien, Andoni Ortuzar, and the entrenchment of the clan of Arratia (Aitor Esteban and Itxaso Atutxa), and even more of the relocation of some of the last JaBuGo of the party (Josu Erkoreitka and Iñigo).
On the one hand, and in relation to these Michelin relocations, MEP for Institutional Relations and Public Administration, Ager Izagirre, believes that the appointment of public offices "must take into account ideology" and have "confidence". Meanwhile, the split party of the PNV, Eusko Alkartasuna, has focused on youth associations within the scope of the PNV. The financing of these associations, through grants and public contracts, is outside the purview of the Court of Auditors, whose younger militants are becoming public offices.
As far as public procurement is concerned, nothing seems to change. When inviting private companies to bid for privatised public services, the slogan of Itxaso Atutxa is clear: "You have to be three of the trusted party companies," ha a? Adido.
