An anecdote from the airport
I've often been confused by the outside view of a teenage boy, that's not new. Since it's not new, I've gone from graceful to annoying. Since it is not new, I have developed the capacity to issue increasingly epic responses, assuming control of the situation. And since I've taken control, I've learned to enjoy the situation in the moment and then.
Having a meter and a half butch is a complex issue, in the same space and at the same time, because you can be one thing or another depending on the people around you. Here's the explanation of an anecdote that occurred to me at Loiu airport two years ago: at the first checkpoint, the security mixed me with a child from a family behind me. In the second, two “random” controls against explosives (I had to do them twice because I came in with a bottle of water) and made me the most violent exploration I've ever been done at an airport, which had not made me clean and blonde.
I remember from the humor how, without passing history above, we continue to be treated at the airport, on the street, in the supermarket, on public transport or anywhere.
