I just met an acronym. CRPOC: Black, Indigenous (and) People of Colour. There's a word that lately has a lot of impact on my mind and serves me to understand the complexity of exclusion: “Intersection”. There is a dynamic that we need to understand and transform the moment that we live: to create spaces of relationship in equality.
Perplexity does not mean that we all have to do the same, but that the chances of doing so should be as equal as possible. Let us all have tools on equal footing.
As we fight, as if it were pink from the little brush, we put cultures into a glass box, we create respiratory spaces for them. These boxes are not usually closed, everyone is invited to adapt to cultures. Tools are available, but learning how to use them is not cost-effective for the global conceptions and needs of many.
With an analogy, when we talk about digital transformation, given its global impact, we talk about success, about transformation that has come to stay. However, we have many people who suffer the digital divide, who don't understand this culture, and who need help getting into that box, because they have little ability to learn how to use the tool on their own.
Ecological disasters, conflicts and the hope for a lush life in the West, the good madrazo that digital media constantly project, have drawn many people to these lands. These people come with nothing, they know nothing about our organizational systems, they don't understand our culture...
Let us continue to open contact spaces to overcome all these problems in Euskal Herria, as they will never end the problems and we do not create boxes like BIPOC.
