Lisabö remains out of time. Like a bubble, they seem to have received no influence. They are themselves, making their own way. One more turn to the screw. The title of the album is lowercase because it's a succession from the previous one. The phrase is: And we undress on the steles of beauty until we become empty bones in the icy garden.
My favorite group was Lisabö in adolescence, and I have to admit that with my last job I got a little tired, maybe because I was going in a too complicated direction. On this occasion, however, I have been rescued from force and anger by the more joyful colors and harmonies they have offered us.
I have little to explain to the group. On the other hand, we do not need much understanding. How does intensity explain? What do we care about what you read when the cataract is maturing? Which cuffs and legs and neck and mattresses and viscera make you very firm? Lisabö is basal, primitive and basic.
Of course they approach intellectualism, perhaps in search of doses of energy that the middle class posture does not allow. Because one thing is to collect 2,300 euros, in fourteen pay, and another very different, to know how to meet the basic needs of life. Without any kind of July to psychoanalysts, cultural restlessness and all that.
Lisabö could serve to forget everything at times. But beware, because it's not a song of indifference. I remember, in an old interview, how a Ray Ban goggles trader came up to them proposing a deal at a macrofestival: a photo with glasses and a pair of goggles. They rejected the proposal because cultural workers were not at the service of the logics of capitalism.
Martxel Mariscal's poems, perhaps esthetic surpluses, sometimes based on the search for noises and noises, have slits that show that, although they like modern ones, they have clear principles and directions. To sing at the end of the world, p. ex. :
