There are many attitudes to climate change. The former are those who deny that the climate has always changed and that the phenomenon that is taking place cannot be distinguished from the fluctuating cycles that have occurred in millions of years on earth. But they don't take into account the speed of this change, which has accelerated remarkably since the Industrial Revolution began.

The second position is made up of people who approve of change and say that the forceful use of technology will solve climate change. To do this, investments must be accelerated to curb warming. These investments should be directed towards economic sectors in which the effect of heat is produced and expanded. These economic sectors are related to the consumption of non-renewable fossil energies, especially the transport system. And to curb climate change if these sectors reduce consumption, the use of adapted technology will be decisive. In it we will mention two sectors: Electric Car (AE) and chip industry.

It was considered that the use of the EE would be a good tool to curb climate change, however, as experience increases, its use has only reduced optimism. In fact, the basic component of EA is the battery, and from its duration until it overcomes the load difficulties, there are many problems. And that is that for battery production, especially lithium, it is basic and very little is found around the world, although there is now hope that sodium will be its substitute, spare element. Furthermore, EC, besides being too expensive, have too short survival. Petrol and diesel are therefore unique and sales of conventional vehicles remain higher than sales of electric vehicles, with a slower than expected replacement.

The EA barely pollutes within the city, but due to the need for lithium, when extracting them from mines there are huge disasters and pollution. And once the batteries are changed, it's very difficult to recycle them. Therefore, through the EA we will get pollution from the cities, but before we leave the mining areas contaminated in the third world. Once again, the consequences of our prosperity and well-being.

Current technological developments are associated with the Shipyan industry, where Asian countries, particularly China, Taiwan and South Korea, also depend on lithography machines, as the Netherlands is the country that has dedicated them. In order to win this competition, the US and the EU reorganise their chip production strategy, especially with the aim of weakening China’s economic development.

In this way, huge public-private investments are being made, in which great use is being made of public money. For example, in the French State, in the Grenoble area, a chip production centre is being built, as it is a suitable place and with adequate water. But this project requires a high consumption of electricity and water, as it will be spent as much as a city like Grenoble (160,000 inhabitants). Therefore, while climate change creates water shortages, to cope with this change, abundant water must be used in the new technologies. A great contradiction!

The third position is the defense and execution of economic decline. Our planet is limited and nature is about to end every resource to the detriment of our descendants. However, an agreed process of extinction must be launched as soon as possible so that it is not implemented.
