Women are transfeminist days that are organized in Catalonia beyond weapons. We invite the women* who have been part and protagonist of the world’s armed conflicts to tell their stories: Colombia, Germany, Italy, Nicaragua, Palestine, Kurdistan, Euskal Herria, Ireland, Canary Islands, Guatemala... The ideas, styles, languages and militancy fields of the participants are very varied, with signs, trans, bollers or non-duplicate identities that come from the radical left of the earth and drink from anarchism.

When silence is an accomplice of power, memory is a struggle, says the motto of seductors. Apart, memory is a collective and absent exercise, based on solidarity between friends and oppressed. In short, the passion for learning from the past to confront the present and build free futures. An essential teaching in the Basque Country, in the report of the conflict or, rather, in the conflict of the story.

We have no freedom to speak, we have been expelled from the story, we have been relegated from reality until we deny who we are. We cannot explain our beliefs and causes, tell the facts as we have lived them, write our history. However, states feed the mass media monster more strongly than ever: conventional, series, films, networks... As always, everything goes to denigrate official discourse and, in this imposition of the single story, they continue to prohibit and punish ours.

On the contrary, history cannot be erased because what happened is very present in the collective memory. They say that edestia is written by the winners, but I think the people could/should. We have already sculpted it with blood and tears, and gained in our hands. Well, every citizen initiative is important, even the simplest, to give a bold vision to the story of the conflict. With all of them we will complete the drafting of the Basque History.

In this initiative, one exemplary example is the Catalan days. Crests, loose nipples, hairs, scarves and vindictive t-shirts, beards and flowers, laughs and cries, irritability, love, tireless translators, books, fanzines, stickers, afixas, pastries and sweet words, benign delights, hard stories, women* exemplary, dialogues in eleven languages, take infinite politics, perfect coherence and perfect. Barcelona fights in a very lively atmosphere. Thank you all, you are an example.
