Roman bricks in the trunk
- In a traditional police control in Jerusalem, the trunk of a car has been opened and several Roman bricks have been found by surprise.
The bricks, marked with the brand Legio X Fretensis, allow the experts to believe that the bricks were manufactured at the time of the emperor Hadrian at the beginning of the second century AD near the Hebron and used in a public building.
Experts hope to find this original building with a better analysis of the bricks, but expoliadores have found the site before archaeologists, who do not know if that part of the heritage will already be scattered and lost in the black market.
