How does the Beita project come about?
Maddi Altolagirre: He was born as a theater play about two years ago. It occurred to one of the team members that moving from the table to the screen could be a good idea and we decided to move on. This is how he has adopted the web format.

What's the story you've told?
Paula Polo: In one leg of the crew, one member attacks another, but you can't see who. He's the best friend of aggressor Eki, and he tries to figure out what happened to find out who the aggressor was.
M. Altolagirre: Narrated as a thriller. This search for truth reveals some secrets and the attitude of other members to an attack. We wanted to launch and denounce these behaviors.
P. Polo shirt: All characters act differently, but they all have a common feature: egoism. Everyone looks more like his friend.

They have also addressed other issues.
M. Altolagirre: Although the main plot is sexual assault, we have also addressed some day-to-day conflicts of young people, such as the sale of drugs, dependency on gambling, mourning of death or open partner relationships. We've touched a lot of issues for the public to feel identified.
Is the same story told in the theater and in the web section?
M. Altolagirre: The base is the same, but the web has allowed us to extend it. We have delved deeper into the lives of each character and better explained the relationships between them.

Who have you participated?
M. Altolagirre: Irazan is a Oñati theater group and XUP is a youth group. The actors and actresses are eight of them, all from Oñati: Sara Arrangi, Malen Pérez de Arenaza, Danel Teran, Izar Mendiola, Ander Murillo, Aitor Gómez and Paula and I. There we created the idea and the script, but we expanded the work team for the web because we wanted quality. There are also people of different ages who are not from Oñati.
P. Polo shirt: We don't want team members to be professional. What we wanted was people who do the work in our style and love art.

What's that style?
P. Polo shirt: Everyone has had their responsibility and contributed what they knew. We have worked together and nobody has been more, everything has been agreed. We don't know very well where we got in, we've never done a series or a series of sites and we've taught ourselves a lot when it comes to creating and recording the project.
M. Altolagirre: Moreover, the objective has never been economic, but to convey our values and message.

What do you want to affect the public?
P. Polo shirt: We want to reflect. Although the characters' attitudes towards sexual assault actually occur, we want them not to be considered normal. Reflect on the attitudes that the public has imagined and adopted or can adopt in this situation.

Who do you want to reach?
M. Altolagirre: Especially young people, although it is also visible to the elderly. It is a project created by young people and I think it has helped us to show our reality better.
P. Polo shirt: It is beneficial for another public to see what happens in a generation that is not theirs.

When and where can we see the web section?
M. Altolagirre: The first four chapters will be published on June 25 on the YouTube channel of Gaztea irratia. The following four on 4 July. In total there will be eight chapters of about fifteen minutes.
P. Polo shirt: The première took place on June 16 at the Teatro Santa Ana de Oñati.
M. Altolagirre: We wanted to give the official start at home.

M. Altolagirre: We started with the communication campaign on Instagram (@beitawebsection) and until we upload the first chapter we will upload several materials: character presentations, trailers… Although our main job is the web section, we have also worked more resources. Little by little we will climb the teasers, the dialogues… P.
Polo shirt: It is a novelty for us to publish our work on social networks. In recent years, the way in which audio-visual is published has changed and social networks are now part of projects.
M. Altolagirre: As our audience is young, social media is another way to get closer to us.
