On the edge of the Mambo River!
We had the fourth and last night at the Chantrea celebrations. The tiredness of the neighbours was obvious, logical, as this year they have been long and hard. But yet, there was still enough desire to shake the body.
The Lukie group opened the Festaleku at dusk. At the beginning of the cold, but with a lot of humor and a good atmosphere they ended the direct. Many people came late, perhaps from Navarra Day of Baigorri. But before starting the biggest concert of parties, the square was filled up. There was a great expectation to see Goxua’n Salsa. It is no less, because it is often difficult for these types of groups to be seen in popular spaces, and the willingness of the group members is to be welcomed.
The sixteen musicians got on stage, dressed in white and white, as usual. Greetings, applause and txistus. They had an easy audience and they danced from first to last, both musicians and juerguists.
The other day Amets Aranguren talked about the fact that in one of his chronicles he is not always fond of versions. What this Pamplona salsa band has done seems terrible to me, but I am not an expert in music, so I have not taken it too much into account. I find it very nice to offer the Flowers of Gatibu, and to listen to the mythical Itzulatzen of Berri Txarrak with the Latin melody and pronunciation, besides being a way to approach us and ourselves.
But if there were truly magical moments, that was Aldaz's. We all expected that the adaptation of the song Del puente to alla dedicated to our neighborhood, however, did not climb Piripi from our comparison of giants and tickles. During the six minutes of singing, the most beloved places and customs here overlooked and made it clear that on this side of the bridge, more than anything, we are montreales. At the end, the head launched vindictive messages and denounced all kinds of aggression.
Then came the couple DJ Nipple. These have already become a tradition on our land and ended the Cheesemaking festivities with one blow at a time, one after the other.
The parties that have given for a lot, but I would highlight the Sunday environment and summarize perfectly what the cat says: mambo, mambo, mambo, on the river bank.
