The ocean reaches Oñati

Much of the blame lies with Juan Valls, a music from beyond the cultured ocean, able to bring his essence and dress and get his visual accounts. Although young, she has been writing and performing songs for a long time in Euskal Herria, Scotland… where she can, and before the pandemic started this project which is not a fixed station but has a specific direction. Due to participant changes, pandemic and others, her job is Pill for horses, a luxury training: Ander Etxaniz bass (Lenao), Mikel Marco (Herstura) drums, Iñigo Ugarte guitar (Malenkonia, Unnea, Lenao, Iker Mtnez & Zaldi Herrenak) and voice and guitar Juan Valls. On the album, Alvaro Turrion (Supersweet, Lie Detectors) added keyboards. Garate has been recorded in a study with Iñaki Zubiea and Jonan Ordorika has mastered in the Mamia study.
The eight songs that make up the album are trips to other lands and times, elegant and full of nuances. Valls' convincing diction to sing in English and the stories accompanied by a "nose voice" similar to Dylan are full of references from American music culture and their costumes are the most similar tailor of Tom Petty, The Van, Dylan, Neil Young and others, with fine oñatian contributions, such as whispered or semi-canico.
