How does artificial intelligence see the world? How do we show him that we have to see him? In these two questions we can detect a cycle, on the one hand, the information available to feed artificial intelligence, which is that medium, on the other hand, which generates artificial intelligence and affects our society.
This week I found two debates in the networks on this subject. One because the effective filters to shape faces with artificial intelligence on the Tik Tok network (currently in the URL0). make up for what we are (with the potential to completely alter the perception of reality), with the benefits and harms that this can bring. Among the damages, if we pay attention to the Tik Tok filters, we can detect that they can cause exclusion problems. The results of the filters, created by this artificial intelligence, because they're beautifying faces. It guides users towards a very homogenizing idea of beauty. How can this affect our society?
I've also found another piece of news: a letter signed by the owners and managers of big tech corporations, in which they have spread that artificial intelligence can be a threat to society. They say that it is worth reflecting before we advance the development of artificial intelligence.
In the light of these two news stories, and understanding that in our workplaces, in free time, we are immersed in the data extraction systems that we have in educational centers, I think the most successful artificial minds will be the ones that will create worlds that better guide the weaknesses of our humanity. But even if it sounds like a contradiction, these weaknesses can be the way to confront the worlds guided by artificial intelligence. We can look for ways to work and create together, foster coexistence, reduce the need for technology for a maquillado world, and decrease the need for worlds that generate artificial intelligence.
