A way of life
Today it seems easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of patriarchy and capitalism. That I read, among many other things, Eraitz Saez and Lur Albizuri Gureak also, in the book of desire, power, epic, and it's true. In these times of collective crisis of expectations, it is revolutionary for our generation to believe in another possible world, in another Basque country. What is more, that this Basque Country of the future is not within our grasp, but that what we do today will determine to a large extent what is tomorrow, we are active subjects to transform what is in front of us. In the context of this scenario, Ernai turns ten, it is time to recognize and celebrate.
As an antagonism of this scenario, thousands of young people will meet in Elorrio from 6 to 9 April, in the Gazte Topagunea this year. This collective desperation is an anomaly for everything behind the programme and for the political courage of what happens in those four days. We organized youth meetings, drums, akelarre and marches with the militant commitment of hundreds of young people. Auzolan and self-managed; weave with our hands, sew with our hands and build with our hands. From love, but also from rebellion. To touch utopias with the tips of the fingers, but also to dream. From the counter, but also from power. From criticism and also from self-criticism. To desire and to build many more.

It's terrible how from those days that seem utopian relationships flourish, how we politicize in them things that sting us to question and transform our own environment. The free, socialist and feminist Basque Country we dream of is a practical and collective example of what is possible, with mutual care and community force, which draws the horizon of a better Basque Country, which embodies bone. Everything that happens these days would not be possible if it were not for the huge hand and work behind it. We are right: together it is possible. We are a threat to neoliberalism in this indefinite strike of expectations, the evasion. The patriarchal and capitalist system will never forgive us from being dissidents.
The future we dream of is the same idea possible, a way of life. The future is a way of living the idea that now, here, we, is possible to build together; to join this way of living.
