We accept it with difficulty, but we live in a dirty world. On screens we see relatively clean worlds – and we want to see them, accustomed to them – in historical films the crowns and elegant costumes are almost always polished and shiny, the dirtiest theme that black narratives show us is blood, and in fantastic stories the hidden spectacularity possible obscene. It is true that in all of them there are people who look dirty, but the quotas of the sworn characters are generally used to represent poor and evil people. And in ads it's hard to see something or someone dirty (if not to sell a washing machine or a product).

However, we all know that our daily lives are not as orderly as on screens, even if we try to mimic the simplicity of screens.

It is true, on the other hand, that information shows us other impurities – surely to keep our fears cool and cold –: wars, violence, famines, disasters… But we do not classify them as dirt in our brains, among other things because we cannot touch or touch them, unlike dust generated at home or other dirty ones.

Under the influence of still seeing the Catastrophe, where aesthetics, coupled with content, is a dirty cleaning, until the public feels uncomfortable, I've started thinking about what dirt is. And I've realized it's hard to draw clear conclusions.

I am afraid, however, that organic waste associated with the basic needs of human beings and of living beings in general, such as substances that detach silos from the body, is considered dirty, repugnant, and that it does not become as annoying as the waste we generate, increasingly sophisticated, at least if it departs from our sight – for example, in landfills.

Sometimes art and artists, especially those who move away from the circuits of great shows, invent the faces of people and society. I was told once: a plastic artist, I don't remember who, formed a giant svastic with fresh silver sardine in an exhibition, where the smell became increasingly unbearable as sardines lost freshness.

I've seen Axuten Disaster have a similar ability to awaken our consciences. Part of the Zaldibar disaster, but it goes further, putting before us the rubbish we accumulate in the media, in social and power structures and in human relations.
