The Basque country is about to finish writing these lines, the end is still insufficient. They will certainly be beautiful, similar to those of a great party.

In Bizkitarte I have carefully read, here or in other publications, lines written by people more expert than I, let us say, painful, past the Basque Country or Navarre. On the other hand, it must be acknowledged that this edition of Euskaraldia concludes with a pleasant sweet feeling.

As on other occasions, the veneer of conviction and anything in favour of the Basque, insignificant or voluminous, because they are all valuable. Well, like the previous ones, I share the feeling that we have passed after Euskaraldia. I say this because there has not been the whole earthquake announced, where it is said that the defence of the Basque country is growing.

In this edition the institutions have been more present than in the previous ones. And, at least in the North, nothing extraordinary about these institutions has appeared, beyond the exercise of investment and communication. I would like to say that institutionally there has been no news that provokes a fire effect. For example, beyond a compromise in the medium term, which would mark a change of direction that would mark a concrete action: good news, a service or the passage of mass Euskaldunization of others, the implementation of some special resource or project, a decision that concrete more closeness and involvement with the subject.

Well, you had to, the fronts are not scarce. Euskalgintza explodes, it does not last week without hearing the problems that a structure of the popular movement has: the conditions and awards of AEK workers, the inability of Uda Leku, the heating problems of the children of the capital, the eternal erdality of exams, the scarcity of the media. The Basque is naked.

Perhaps to give a dignified and lasting solution to the problem of one of these areas, which could be the good news of the Basque Country or the Basque Day. Accuracy to be more credible. I could go beyond one-off initiatives.

However, this has not yet happened. There could be more courage on the part of the structures. Whether caused or not, there has been an issue that depends on the people.

Consequently, the communion between peoples and structures was a warm use of the Basque country. Perhaps because Euskera has too many problems, has other emergencies and you cannot have your head at all. Perhaps because, year after year, public language policy is scarce, because we are exhausted by money laundering and we are tired of seeing that they leave the obligation to the people. Because it's always a matter of militancy.

Nothing in particular can be said against the process of institutionalization of the Basque Country, because it is the result of the demands of the years.

There is, however, one point, which is clear, which is not heard, which is not what is preferred: in the north there has been no mass Euskaldunisation, literacy, formalisation or appropriate measures. The problem of transmission has not been translated, there has been no linguistic revolution. Less and less know what the capacity or comfort level is. Is it realistic, under these conditions, to ask for more and more to be done when the total number of speakers is not guaranteed? Is it relevant to act as if the transmission account was repaired? All as a matter of individual will?
