Many times we hear about parentheses when in Pandemia we were shut down in our properties. A parenthesis in our life, and then we'd go on with our lives. But time can't stop, it doesn't understand too much spelling, and what happens in brackets can condition your entire life. And we've also taken jail as a parenthesis.
In recent years we have had work that has brought us closer to the life of the prison, to see if those of us who have lived on the other side of the glass once realized the interior. But a number of ex-prisoners are being held in a mere headline. Little noise, perhaps a reflection of disability. Some passages haven't happened that much, because we're talking about biographical deadlines, and in our biographies we spread a lot of stuff. We trivialize the murder of simple people, torture and imprisonment. “How many years have you spent in jail?” and if the answer was three years, we came to think, “well, it’s not so much.” You may have to relax in some way. Imagine. How might it not be so much? Three years in prison is or can be forever.
And how can I not understand those who want to know what happened to the relatives who murdered them. But wouldn't we take more reassurance from the stories needed to close the wounds without the threat of jail? How does it help to keep tearing up bits of life? It's so cruel to make people believe that we have to play so that we don't separate. They're not parentheses that open up by our side, it's a psychopathic machinery that destroys incarcerated and nearby people. Let us not separate practices that reduce lives. Let us not: never.
