What would be the souvenir of human heritage?” One of those questions to look at the stars is that raised by the artistic collective Horman Poster in his last play. A big and very difficult question to answer, given that everyone has their own answer. To give an answer, Horman Poster, unlike his previous Antigone work, has changed the record and addressed this issue from humor.

We have three protagonists (Matxalen de Pedro, Xanti Agirrezabala and Maite Aizpurua) in the desert of the Bardenas of Euskal Herria, in a camp between the laboratory of scientific simulations and the theme park. As the astronauts did, they themselves will have to reproduce life in space for several days, recording their day to day with a camcorder and, finally, answering the question posed at the beginning. Thanks to this analogy of life in space, everyone faces their fears and dreams, sending an answer to the infinite void of space.
In the darker future than ever, this work raises several interesting questions. The future, something abstract that does not exist and will never exist, generates fear, discomfort and anxiety to the three protagonists of the play, to the three analogue astronauts. Of course, everyone faces this transcendental issue differently. There are those who are excited about the future, who cry “The future or barbarism!” and ask for a step forward for humanity. There are those who are immersed in the existentialist hole and in the flight of this terrible present. These three positions will collide in the analogue camp around the meteorite containing the star dust.
Little by little, however, the personal motivations of each of the protagonists, little of the collective and much of the individual, will be discovered. Because in the end it is that. “One more among all, even if you want a little special,” as Delirium Tremens has sung. What would need a salvation of mankind will become a revolutionary tourism of mediocre, an analogy of who we are and what we want to be.
Many voices have risen lately to claim the need to see beyond the apocalyptic future. If humanity wants to survive, it wants a future, it must begin to disseminate positive stories, utopias and hopeful messages about this, moving away from dystopias, reactionary nostalgia and pessimism. Faith with another world will move humanity, more than the show we would like to leave on another planet, we should start to wonder how we want to live in us, and that's where fiction can be very useful.
