It is Friday afternoon, the day has gone a lot, the week has been long, but if we accept the last minute invitation for the theater to see the play Commitment to the Main Theatre of San Sebastian. We have arrived at the window at the last minute, without entrance, and thanks to the young hour we have filled two seats that were going to be empty. There is a good time outside, many people in the streets and the summer atmosphere pulls out.

Sitting in the red chair without knowing very little about the play and calculating what we get down from middle age is hard to say, but some points yes, no doubt. How do you write the resein of a play? I have tried to remember some phrases, remember names, review the plot as it occurs, pay attention to themes and elements that give coherence to the work, value the work of the actors. Compromise is a light comedy and yet it has surprises, always to free up the tension of humor at the right time. The trio consists of Zuhaitz Gurrutxaga, in the role of Gonzalo, the buyer of houses, and Germán and Tomás are caught in a clash between old friends as soon as they reach the old floor.

Other phrase in the air: Theater is life, and life is theater -- or something like that, I think. This triple theater game focuses on the references that actors make to the theater itself and the public, and the layers of fiction or invention that are being built as the play progresses. Gonzalo is also a spectator in the internal accounts of the work, although sometimes it is a mere testimony of what is happening.

The original text of the work is by Philippe Claudel, translated by Martin Agirre and directed by Begoña Bilbao Lejarzegi. The adaptation is very good, as the original in French has completely disappeared in its Basque version. The key to Consrpomiso is in the interviews, passes at speed, advances by twisting words, causing laughter. At the same time, it talks about friendship, about friendship and love, about being a good friend, about being a good person. Sometimes it may seem axial, life often also seems axial.
