Irene Vallejo explains in a fragment of Infinity in a joint that the Greeks were not interested in specialization: the status that consisted of working and showing the general culture. Only medicine achieved a respected specialized training. The rest of the trades, although necessary in everyday life, were not a sign of elegance, and they were something far from the philosophy of the time.
The author continues, without the nostalgia of a society with naturalized slavery, female teachers: the best known doctors emphasized that they were also philosophers. To do so, they apparently needed an insufficient label from the doctor (male).
The apology of philosophers is today. In the anus of the dog. In what specialization leads us to live (and die), it has also been insulted in some public environments.
