Today I am faced with a white paper, which I do not know what to write. Lockdown, frustration and insecurity emerge as the deadline for delivering this article approaches. It's not the first time I've had it, but this time I don't have any topical issues worth discussing.
In this individualistic and fast society you have to know everything, you have to be able to have opinions on any topic and offer them with the conviction enough for people to value, whether or not they agree with your approaches. In that it has made us the “digital revolution”, beings that have little parentheses to reflect, and what is more important, without spaces of doubt. Forced to manage anxiety and offer our best version in the fictional world of social networks.
Meanwhile, we keep in small compartments all the emotions that cross us every day, in a place hidden from our existence, often without space, time, space to give the importance they deserve. The rhythm of life presses us and does not allow us to rethink what happens to us, digest experiences and learn from them.
"The rhythm of life presses us and does not allow us to rethink what happens to us, digest experiences and learn from them"
We are emerging from a pandemic, a new war comes and the crisis that we cannot even remember when it started gets deeper. The generation we were born after the fall of the Berlin Wall has grown threatened by the idea of collapse. Privatization, precariousness, unemployment, evictions are important words in our daily dictionary.
All of this has led to an extreme situation, the deterioration of mental health. According to the Spanish Foundation for Aid against Drug Dependencies, two million young people from 15 to 29 years of the state (30%) have had mental problems in the last year. The National Health System's Mental Health Strategy says that more than half of people in need of treatment do not receive it and that a significant percentage do not receive it.
These data are directly related to the productivity that drowns our lives: 11% to 27% of mental health problems are attributable to working conditions, according to a UGT report. At the same time, eight out of ten people with mental health problems have no work, according to figures from the National Institute of Statistics.
A few days ago I greeted one of my elders, one of the people I loved most: my grandfather, l'avi. He turned 101 for various reasons, but I'm sure there are two things that had a lot to do with it: he talked little and he listened a lot, and he never did things quickly. He always had enough time to open and close the processes calmly.
There is a phrase that those who work at the Marrakech bazaar places repeat tourists when shopping for shops without having time to discuss prices: "The prey kills, friend." Let us never lose sight, let us give time to time.

I have done a review from the announcement of the pandemic to the tragedy in Valencia and have concluded that the disastrous institutional management that lies and forupe as firewalls is constant of the ruling class.
We do not have a valid substitute ruler as long as this... [+]
November 19 is World Bathing Day. Even today, in the twenty-first century, many workers here in the Basque Country do not have the right to use the toilet in their working days. Many transport workers are an example of this.
Toilets are the key to public health and play a... [+]
We know that artificial intelligence is representing many fields in human beings: comfort, speed, efficiency ... We've been led to believe that human endeavor is an obstacle to the speed needs of this capitalist world. The aggressions to reduce our chances of doing, doing and... [+]
In recent weeks it has not been possible for those of us who work in architecture that the climate phenomenon of Valencia has not been translated into our work discourse. Because we need to think about and design the path of water in decks, sewers, plazas and building parks. We... [+]
Self-esteem sometimes seems intimate. But if self-esteem is about the image that you have of yourself, about the value that you give yourself, you'll also have to see the decisions that you can make. What value does someone who can't decide have? So we start to look at our mother... [+]
The Sanmartines are well known in our homes, as it is time to kill the pig. However, many people will not know that before St. Martin's day marked the end of the agricultural year. And that was no nonsense. In fact, at the end of the year, I had to pay an annual rent to my... [+]
For a whole week we have talked about the book The Adventures of Pinocchio by Collodi, in the classroom of the university, with teachers of Early Childhood and Primary Education. Our main reference has been the nice edition that Galtzagorri published in 2011, which included the... [+]
“You learn walking and singing.” This has been one of the subjects this week in the groups of C2. It wasn't about learning to sing or walking, it was about using the future correctly. The activity has given me what to think and I've wondered how we learn to teach. I've heard... [+]
The survival of the Basque country is not the only problem that the Basques play in the political game, but rather, as a more characteristic element of Euskaldunisation, the one that most reflects our situation. It shows very well what does not appear so much in other areas... [+]
In Sociology of Education there is a classical question: Why does the education system exist in a society? The answers to the question are numerous and change according to the time. But among them, it should be noted that the main objective of the school is the creation of... [+]
With the words of poet Vicent Andrés Estellés, I am one among so many cases, and not an isolated, rare or extraordinary case. Unfortunately, no. Among so many, one. In particular, according to the Council of Europe, and among other major institutions such as Save The Children,... [+]
The housing problem is a structural problem that comes from far away. What should be a human right is nothing more than a subjective right. I say that it is a fraud because, although all the institutions and all the political parties say nice words, they do not grasp the... [+]
The new Education Act adopted by the CAV against most public school officials aims to ensure that concerted education is free of charge through the financing of public authorities. The Spanish State has also announced a significant increase in public... [+]
On November 15, we will celebrate in Errenteria-Orereta the three days organized by the different agents that make up Euskal Herria Digitala. This is a feminist digital self-defense workshop and a talk about democratic digitalisation.
